Pullman xChange in Paris: The Art of Encounter
A conversation starts over coffee. A question leads to an unexpected connection. A room full of strangers leaves with a new way of seeing the world.
For 24 hours in Paris, Pullman xChange transformed two hotels into places where ideas, perspectives and people came together in unexpected ways. More than an event, it became a living expression of a belief at the heart of Pullman today: every exchange is a trip.
Because sometimes the most meaningful journeys don't take place across cities or continents. They happen in a single conversation.

Why Paris, Why Now?
Paris has always been a city built on exchange. Artists, thinkers, entrepreneurs and creatives have long come here to share ideas, challenge conventions, and shape new ways of thinking.
As the second global edition of Pullman xChange, following its debut in Dubai, Paris provided the perfect backdrop for the conversation to continue. Across Pullman Paris Montparnasse and Pullman Paris Center Bercy, two of the city's most dynamic destinations, guests gathered to explore a theme that sat at the heart of this year's theme: The Source Code. Exploring the ideas, values and experiences that shape how we think, create and connect, The Source Code invited guests to look beyond the surface and uncover the inspiration behind innovation, creativity and meaningful human exchange.
Inside Pullman xChange Paris: What Actually Happened?
Pullman xChange Paris brought together 158 curated attendees, 20 content creators and 14 contributors and speakers, including Laura Francois, Steven D'Souza, Monika Jiang, and more, for an event designed to encourage participation rather than passive observation.
The experience began with curated learning journeys. Guests explored a series of venues before taking part in immersive workshops, including Systems Thinking, Leading from the Dark and Hotel Bar Confessions. From there, attendees passed through the Pullman Portal into the Pullman xChange Cocktail experience, before an unexpected dinner performance by the Source Code Master (a not-quite-human keeper of the Source Code), which set a mysterious tone for the evening.
Yet what made Pullman xChange memorable wasn't only the structure of the day. It was the mix of people it brought together. Founders, researchers, creatives, entrepreneurs and cultural voices gathered in an environment designed to encourage genuine and unexpected connections rather than traditional networking.
The event's impact extended beyond Paris. Within its first week, Pullman xChange achieved 100% of its brand mentions target, largely driven by live social storytelling. Overall, the event generated more than 650 media placements, demonstrating how conversations that began in the room continued far beyond it.
The Pullman xChange Format: A New Approach to Bringing People Together
Pullman xChange is more than a single event. It is a global platform designed to bring together people, ideas and cultures through meaningful exchange. Workshops, discussions, performances and shared experiences are created through the ongoing series to encourage participation, curiosity and connection.
The format reflects a growing shift in what modern travelers seek from hospitality. Today's guests are looking for more than comfort or luxury. They are searching for experiences that feel enriching, social and culturally relevant. Through Pullman xChange, the hotel becomes more than a place to stay. It becomes a catalyst for discovery, creating opportunities for encounters that might never happen anywhere else.

Every Exchange is a Trip: The Philosophy in Action
Paris marked an important moment for Pullman, bringing to life the simple but powerful idea that every exchange is a trip.
Throughout Pullman xChange, this philosophy revealed itself not through presentations or slogans, but through real experiences. A conversation that shifted someone's perspective. A question that sparked a new idea. A chance encounter that became the start of a meaningful connection.
These moments remind us that travel today is about more than movement between places. It is about movement between perspectives. The journey begins when we connect to different ideas, different experiences and different people. That belief sits at the heart of Pullman. Because wherever we travel, the exchanges we have along the way are often what stay with us longest.
