The Magritte Museum is a true cultural gem in Brussels. Covering its spectacular artistic facade, a building is painted which opens like a curtain revealing the sky; it is here that the universe of the Belgian surrealist artist, René Magritte, unfolds in all its diversity. Painter but also a designer, sculptor, filmmaker, writer and photographer, the artist played with every media to express the fantasy that this philosopher lived and breathed. Spread across 2,500 m2 of this prestigious building, more than 200 art works are on display. Chronological and thematic approaches allow everyone, from experts to novices, to be immersed into the land of men in bowler hats.
