Established in 1963 in the Born district, the Picasso Museum occupies five interconnected historic buildings on the same street, all ancient Gothic 13th and 14th century palaces. The famous painter spent the first half of his life in Barcelona and, while he was still alive, donated a significant proportion of his work to the museum. In a chronological museum experience that takes you from 1890 to 1967, you can discover more than 4,000 paintings, drawings and ceramics, including Science and Charity, Rooftops of Barcelona, The Jester and The Portrait of Aunt Pepa.
