Asian Art Museum

Beyond the monumental facade of San Francisco’s Asian Art Museum lies one of the most comprehensive collections of Asian Art in the world. Comprised of over 18,000 objects, the museum’s light-filled interiors are organised by theme: explore the full suit of Samurai armour in the Japanese gallery, the jewel-studded Buddha of the Chinese gallery or the delicately painted ceramics in the Korean gallery. On Thursday nights, the museum hosts a dynamic  program of events, where you can listen to fascinating expert panel discussions about the world of Asian art, meet guest artists and sip cocktails to live DJ sets.
