Wangfujing Street

Wangfujing Street is one of the best-known shopping streets of the Chinese capital. Almost entirely pedestrianised, it starts with the Oriental Plaza and the Beijing Hotel, continues with the Beijing Department Store and the Beijing Bookstore and ends at Sun Dong An Plaza. Very popular, it is home to a night market and a street where you can discover the great variety of food which the city and the country have to offer through its restaurants and stalls with dishes and snacks of all kinds. You can also find traditional works of art and crafts, trendy boutiques and shopping malls. Very lively, Wangfujing also hosts many exhibitions and events.
