The Sakıp Sabancı Museum is known not just for its exhibitions of Ottoman art but also for this surprising "chef training" restaurant and café. It's run by the MSA Culinary Arts Academy of Istanbul, so it may well be the next up-and-coming Turkish celebrity chef preparing your meal. The passion that the young trainee chefs put into the food is clear, and MSA instructors ensure that every dish is professionally cooked and beautifully presented. The wide-ranging menu is inspired by traditional Turkish recipes, street food and international favourites. Overlooking the Bosphorus, the terrace café is a fine spot for a coffee.
