What is Brussels Expo?
Brussels Exhibition Centre was built for the World Fair in 1935 and has hosted innumerable events in the years since. Annual events at the sprawling venue include the European Motor Show, The European Seafood Show, and the Marketing Congress. There’s a huge variety of events and showcases to attend, so it’s worth checking what’s on while you’re in Brussels if you aren’t already planning a visit.
Getting there
Brussels Expo is in the north-west of the city, making it easy to access by road or rail. Whether you’re staying in Brussels or in Ghent or Antwerp, you’ll be able to reach your event in no time.
There are more than 12,000 parking spaces available to visitors, which are situated close to the different event spaces, and thanks to Brussels’ brilliant public transport network, you’ll be able to reach the venue from anywhere in the city without trouble. Take the Metro to the Heysel stop, and enjoy a couple of minutes’ walk to your venue. Trams and buses are also readily available, while taxis can drop you off and collect you from right outside the venue.
Where to eat and drink at Brussels Expo
Whether you’re visiting for a conference or a concert, you’ll want to fuel up before the show. We recommend you grab a bite to eat in the city before you arrive at Brussels Expo for a more rounded dining experience. There are, however, several dining options nestled inside, including self-serve restaurants, snack bars, and stalls selling fresh treats like waffles and pancakes.
