Vietnam Museum of Ethnology

With 54 ethnic minorities inhabiting the country, located just outside the city is the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, which highlights the traditions and culture of its people through costumes, musical instruments, jewelry and weapons. In total, more than 25,000 objects are displayed, accompanied by videos, models and impressive exhibits such as the large-scale Thai house reproduced in full size. The National Museum of History is located in the old building of the French School of the Far East. With a mainly chronological approach, it traces the history of Vietnam from Prehistory to the August 1945 revolution.
