The Markets of Phuket

Situated not far from the Central Festival Shopping Center, in Phuket Town, stands a large night market: the Phuket Weekend Market. Often crowded, its covered stalls are filled with all kinds of products, including a wide variety of inexpensive clothes. Don’t miss the mouth-watering street food stalls: all of the Thai classics are there! Phuket Walking Street is another local area which is buzzing on Sunday evenings with street performances. Finally, in Patong, just behind the Jungceylon Mall, the Banzaan Fresh Market is a great discovery, with its colorful stalls of fruits and vegetables, meat and fish.
