Place du Capitole

The vibrant heart of the Pink City, Place du Capitole owes its name to the majestic 18th-century building, Le Capitole. Located on the west side of the square and easily recognizable by its imposing pink marble columns that represent the eight ‘Capitouls’ (municipal magistrates), the building houses Toulouse’s City Hall.
