Massif des Calanques

A national park in the country’s second largest city? Welcome to the Massif des Calanques, Europe’s largest urban natural park. Spanning some 20km between the towns of Les Goudes and Cassis, an abundance of creeks, limestone cliffs and turquoise water make up one of the most beautiful landscapes along the Mediterranean. Hiking, climbing, diving, lazing… visitors from the region and further afield flock to this heavenly setting to relax and revitalise. Be sure to explore the seaside fishing villages and beaches inaccessible on foot, by renting a boat or booking a tour from the Old Port.
