Musée des Beaux-Arts (Kunsthalle Basel)

Redesigned in 2004 by the architects Miller & Maranta, the Kunsthalle Basel is one of the finest museums in Basel. Since 1872, the Museum of Fine Arts showcases the rising talent of the contemporary art world through its highly acclaimed temporary exhibitions. Elizabeth Price, Frances Stark and Damiàn Ortega are part of the specialized programming over the past 20 years. Home to performances, installations, paintings, sculptures, videos and photographs, the spotlight is placed upon a variety of mediums and current avant-gardists.
