Galleria Riga, opened in 2010, is a modern shopping centre just a short walk from Old Town. The first six levels feature a variety of stores, ranging from a supermarket on the first floor to fashions on the fifth. Level six is dedicated
to home decor, furniture and beauty salons, while level seven features restaurants, cafes and the Happy Art Museum.
The best part of Galleria Riga is arguably the eighth floor. From the largest rooftop terrace in the Baltics,
one can get a 360° view of the city. Open-air restaurants and bars open up during the warmer months, from May through September.
