Sustainable shopper heaven is a 40-minute drive south of Magenta in Point Clare. The eco-minded people behind Fairhaven Shopping Village (formerly Fairhaven Vintage Fair) strive to reduce humankind’s carbon footprint through upcycling. By breathing new life into and finding new families for pre-loved stuff, the collective does their bit to sustain the environment. This is no ordinary secondhand store in more ways than one. A treasure trove filled with antiques, clothing, toys, books, furniture, art and collectables of all kinds, it also provides support and employment to people with disabilities on the coast.
