Along with Les Terrasses du Port, Les Docks Village is the other flagship project in La Joliette. Dating back to the port’s development in the 19th century, these imposing buildings were inspired by London’s docks and are evidence of that prosperous era. The area fell into decline before being rehabbed in 2015. Former warehouses are now home to businesses, boutiques and administrative offices. Les Docks Village complex favours independent creators, whether they’re artists, stylists, designers or opticians, but also upscale restaurants and food shops. Be sure to check out Les Docks’ cultural programming of regularly scheduled events, concerts and parties.
