Dover Street Market

Dover Street Market is a sophisticated concept-store in the chic district of Mayfair. Founded by Japanese designer, Rei Kawakubo, it has since opened branches in Tokyo, Beijing and New York. The London flagship brings together young designers and better-known brands, like Ann Demeulemeester, Comme des Garçons and Céline. DSM is also a venue for artistic expression in its own right. The window displays filled with mannequins, animals and plants sometimes resemble a natural history museum. The place to be when it comes to fashion, design and contemporary art, DSM loves to show off its quirky side, with its changing rooms housed in portaloos.
