DongTai Lu Market

The Dongtai Lu antique market remains an important place for haggling in Shanghai. In this open-air market located in Dongtai Road and along Liuhekou Road in the Luwan district there are antiques to be found, but tourists and locals also go there for the pleasure of bargain-hunting in this Chinese-style flea market. Among the 125 stalls, the furniture, the second-hand objects, the long rows of terracotta warriors, the Guanyin figures, the various trinkets, the military helmets and clothing, old folk play cards or mahjong, still show that this landmark retains its authenticity.
