Beaches around Villasimius
The white sands and clear waters of Timi Ama beach stretch along the eastern edge of Capo Carbonara, a peninsula and protected area of marine wildlife just south of Villasimius town. The sands extend south along the public Porto Giunco beach, popular with families for its clean sands and safe waters. West of Timi Ama, pink flamingos gather in the saltwater lake of Notteri. On the peninsula’s western edge, the shallow waters of Campulongu beach are a fine spot for sunset walks beside lapping waves. With good facilities, restaurants and kiosks, the beaches around Villasimius are understandably popular in summer.
