Abbotsford Convent

A not-for-profit organisation has made its home in Abbotsford Convent, a former convent and once the largest Catholic complex in Victoria. Its eleven buildings, nestled in gardens along the Yarra River, have been restored and house artistic workshops, a radio station, two galleries, restaurants, organic craft shops and an open-air cinema. A wide range of events and festivals, yoga masterclasses, concerts and plays fill the calendar of Abbotsford Convent.
