Contemporary outdoor sculptures

Since 1997, Roissy has been acquiring outdoor sculptures that are now curiosities to be discovered. Local sculptor Alex Labejof was inspired by the Concorde’s aesthetics for his Métalithe, a hybrid creature between bird and plane, animal and machine. Labejof also made L’Aumône (The Alms), on display at the Town Hall. Not far from the Orangerie, the sculpture Connection brought together ten artists from around the world, while the town’s children participated in the creation of the aptly named Œuvre Collective (Collective Work). Particularly fascinating is Djahan Gosha's Le Temps (Time), a piece that intrigues visitors to Parc de la Mairie.
