Qianmen Main Street Mall

In the heart of the city, Qianmen Main Street Mall is a famous pedestrianised street in Beijing. Located near Tiananmen Square it runs for nearly 900 metres linking Jianlou to Tiantan Park. The architecture of its buildings imitates the style of the Qing Dynasty. A symbol of local culture, this long artery is home to a multitude of esteemed Chinese shops such as Qanjude, but also international brands from H&M to Zara and Sephora. Qianmen is also a restaurant hotspot so stop off at the Roast Duck, a famous restaurant in the avenue.
