Since July 2011, this museum has cast a dramatic silhouette on the
city’s docks. The Museum of Liverpool is one of the first British museums to be entirely
dedicated to the history of a city. Due to its vast collections and its temporary
exhibitions, the museum enables visitors to discover the history of the city’s port and its
inhabitants. From one room to another, learn about its social history, the essence of this
cradle of creativity and what means "to be Liverpool." One of its galleries is dedicated to
children with fun and playful exhibits.
