Asian art from the 15th to the 19th centuries is the focus of this engaging museum in Cagliari's "Citadel of Museums". The collections were donated by Stefano Cardu, a passionate antiquities collector who worked as an architect in Siam (modern-day Thailand) around the end of the 19th century. Europe's largest collection of Siamese art is complemented by Malaysian weapons, Japanese ivory pieces and porcelain from China.
