The Concorde in Roissy

Near the Tourism Office is a wonder that will delight aviation enthusiasts: the Concorde’s landing gear, a gift from Air France to Roissy. The result of a historic collaboration between France and Great Britain, the aircraft marked a major turning point in global aeronautics and was a source of pride for both countries that lasted several decades. After the legendary supersonic jet ceased operations in 2004, the airline decided to show its attachment to Roissy by giving the village this souvenir. Visible from beneath a glass bell, it is truly a part of the town’s industrial and technological heritage.
