Insa-dong

Located in Seoul’s city center, Insadong is the neighborhood where you can find the beautiful artisanal Korean handicrafts in the district’s network of streets and alleys. There are also a wealth of art galleries, restaurants, cafes and traditional tea shops to discover. The most visited galleries? Hakgojae and Gana Art. Sourcing “100% Made in Korea” products, the aptly named Korean Souvenir Center is the ideal place to find high quality, local handicrafts. Make sure to visit the third floor Namisum (Nami Island) Seoul Center which is filled with embroideries, lacquerware, ceramics and amethysts.
