Every Saturday, in-the-know Liverpudlians and visitors alike search
for great deals and treasures at the Great Homer Street market. Affectionately nicknamed
"Greatie" by locals, this institution may have relocated in 2015 yet, it has not lost its
charm. In the busy aisles, visitors will find fashion stores (mainly women and children) and
household objects. To buy fresh local products, make sure to visit the Lark Lane Farmer’s
Market which is held on the fourth Saturday of every month. Regional producers come to sell
locally produced Cheshire apple juice, homemade jams, organic cakes and Lancashire
cheese.
