Gran Vía

Gran Vía is Madrid’s main street and one of the big attractions of this European home of fashion and shopping. The big high street stores like Camper, Zara, Desigual and Banco rub shoulders with chic brands such as Swarovski and Lœwe. Gran Via is also known as Madrid’s answer to Broadway. Built at the beginning of the last century, the buildings on this street are inspired by the New York of those days. Even today, there are still lots of theatres and cinemas, creating the city’s cultural hub, with enough energy to have attracted all the big name brands that have made their home here.
