Dongdaemun Design Plaza and Park

More than a shrine to shopping, the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP also called for "Dream, Design, Play") is a huge complex boasting futuristic architecture. Inaugurated in March 2014, it was designed by the architect Zaha Hadid. Shaped like a 87,000 m2 silver spaceship, the PDD is also an entertainment hub, housing a convention center and 8 showrooms and concerts. Dongdaemun Design Plaza is simply a marvel to discover in Seoul.
