This vibrant neighbourhood just to the west of Pullman Eindhoven Cocagne is reminiscent of the Latin Quarter in Paris. It was one of the few parts of Eindhoven that wasn’t destroyed by WWII bombs. As such, this historic area in the Centrum district features charming streets, century-old architecture and a warm, upscale vibe.
Locals and visitors flock here for cosy cafés and restaurants, booksellers, chic specialty shops, antique stores, vintage boutiques and art galleries. Wilhelminaplein (Wilhemina Square) is alive with pedestrians and performers, and many of the city’s events are held here.
