Highlights Roissy En France, France

Château des Caramans

The history of the Château de Roissy extends from the 15th century until its destruction in 1794, after the French Revolution. Its three main buildings were arranged symmetrically among formal gardens, following the typical architectural style of the time, such as that of Versailles. Today you can visit the vestiges of the listed historical monument, also called Château des Caramans after the aristocratic family that occupied it. During a walk in the Parc de la Mairie, you can admire the decorative details of the remaining walls and facades.
