Art Gallery NSW

The Art Gallery of NSW is one of Sydney’s most popular museums. It is also the city’s largest public art gallery, and the 4th largest in the country, welcoming more than a million visitors a year. Located on the fringe of the Royal Botanic Gardens, the Art Gallery of NSW is positioned right in the heart of a lovely park overlooking Sydney Harbour. The permanent collection includes major works of Australian art, including masters of the Heidelberg school and works of Aboriginal art. Its five floors are also home to works of European and Asian art.
